We're excited to announce a new feature that allows districts and schools to dynamically set whether they have an English Learner (EL) Subgroup based on the Mississippi Department of Education Accountability Rules. This update ensures accurate data projections for impact and performance, helping you make more informed decisions.

- Custom EL Subgroup Configuration: Align your accountability reporting by setting your EL Subgroup status according to state-specific guidelines.
- Accurate Impact Projections: The system provides real-time projections of how the presence or absence of an EL Subgroup impacts your overall accountability score.
- EL Breakeven Point Calculation: Equity Analytics now calculates your EL Breakeven Point, the minimum number of growth points required from the ELPT model to maintain your current accountability rating.
Knowing your breakeven point can help you better plan your growth strategies. Scoring above this point not only secures your rating but may also unlock bonus accountability points, while scoring below will ensure your rating won't fall below your current score and letter grade.
This feature empowers schools and districts by giving them the tools to more precisely manage and predict their accountability outcomes.
